Three Week Program
In this workshop students will explore the artworks of artists including Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran, using their quirky and colourful pieces to inspire poetry. Students will reimagine the stories and characters behind the works, expanding their vocabulary to bring art to life. Sample Outcomes - Australian Curriculum Create literary texts that explore students’ own experiences and imagining (ACELT1607) Plan, draft and publish imaginative, informative and persuasive texts demonstrating increasing control over text structures and language features and selecting print, and multimodal elements appropriate to the audience and purpose (ACELY1682) Use comprehension strategies to build literal and inferred meaning to expand content knowledge, integrating and linking ideas and analysing and evaluating texts (ACELY1692)

Witnessed the incredible talent of @zeadalamusic at Story Factory`s Parramatta Creative Circle last Friday! 🙌🏽🎤🎶 This singer-songwriter, rapper, and poet from South West Sydney blew us away with her mesmerising performance. The Creative Circle is a series of events run by @storyfactorypublishing bringing together experienced artists with early career writers to inspire young creators (aged 15-25).
