Monkey Business

Grades 3-6 (primary school)

19th April

Tuesday 11am - 1pm

This workshop will give students the opportunity to look at how a character’s emotional reaction to stimuli can act as a plotting device. Students will collectively brainstorm ideas around character development using a series of prompts offered by the facilitator, then devise their own narrative solutions to the story.

Classes will be left with an understanding of some simple story steps to help develop future stories based on the emotional arcs of their characters.
