Ever heard of Cheese Rolling in Coopers Hill, or Worm Charming in Willaston, or the Wife Carrying Race in Dorking? In this program students act as news reporters, sent to investigate the weird traditions of small towns with odd histories. They will create a monologue for their news report, summarising town traditions, and incorporating interviewing skills in their final piece. 3-week workshop series - BOOKED OUT Block 1: From Week 2 to Week 4 (October 11 to October 29) - Block 2: From Week 5 to Week 7 (November 1 to November 19) Workshops run for an hour once a week on whichever day suits within each block.
