sometimes I put too much

I always need that extra touch
from lipstick to eyeliner then Mascara
she gets all these pretty things from Sephora.
The hot pink nail polish and
the soft brown foundation
all those beauty products
under 1 nation
If I could buy my own makeup it would be a dream
But mum won’t let me saying I’m too young
but I still make a pretend list, stuff like foundation soft as cream
my mothers makeup, my makeup
now I feel the power
I want to take all that makeup
and form myself a statuesque women tower
