On Sunday 29th April 2018 at 6am, a rabbit was seen hopping through the forest and eating a carrot in the suburbs of Paris.

Jacob Karem, who was camping with his family, noticed the rabbit and was astounded to see the rabbit gradually turn into a man. The rabbit’s paws changed first, then his legs, then his stomach and only his rabbit ears remained.

Mr Jacob Karem said, ‘it was the strangest thing!’ The rabbit-man, now known as Mitchel Osman, stopped and came towards Jacob. Jacob panicked and called his family, yelling ‘come and see this rabbit-man!’

Two years later, Mitchel Osman, the rabbit turned human, took part in the 2020 Olympics. He started winning races so people were very interested to know how he could always win. ‘I hope I can inspire more rabbit-men to race by giving them free carrots.’

He was then asked, ‘what do you want to be in the future?’ He replied, ‘I want to keep racing and when I get older I will think about it and maybe I will open a carrot shop!’
