Casual Storytellers Wanted!

As we get busier, the Sydney Story Factory is looking to create a roster of paid casual storytellers.

We are after 2 to 3 people we can call on to run a range of creative writing and storytelling workshops, from our one-off bookmaking and script-writing workshops through to series workshops. The casual storytellers will both deliver programs already devised by staff, and occasionally be involved in devising their own programs. Engagements could be at the SSF and in schools across Sydney, including in Western Sydney.

The role would suit writers and those with significant prior education experience and qualifications. A love of writing is a must, as is the ability to be creative and adaptable under pressure.

There are no fixed hours and no minimum hours per week. All engagements will be on an ad hoc basis.
