Give the gift of creativity this Christmas

A quarter of the kids who come through our workshops are Indigenous. Almost half are from language backgrounds other than English. These are the kids most at risk of losing confidence in themselves and their writing abilities and switching off at school.

You can help us turn things around for them.

This Christmas, will you give the gift of creativity and confidence and change the lives of hundreds of young people?

We rely on donations to keep the creativity pumping. Every gift makes a huge difference. A gift of $30 will cover the cost of a child’s place in a one-hour workshop; $50 covers a place in our signature two-hour book making workshops. With $125 you will provide healthy snacks (including plenty of raisin bread!) for a whole month of after-school workshops.

Or you can give the gift that keeps on giving. Become a Sydney Story Factory Inkwell by signing up to our brand new regular giving program, and give $30 every month. You'll be giving a child a place in one of our workshops every single month, for less than a dollar a day.

With your support we will go into 2016 confident that we can run all the colourful, crazy, creative workshops we would like to. We’ll make writing fun and rewarding for hundreds, if not thousands, more marginalised young people. And we’ll light the spark of creativity to help them find their voice.
