On Thursdays this term, the kids are working on writing their own ghost stories. Here are a few samples of their recipes for a perfect ghost story!

To Make a Ghost Story:
1 Ghost (silly, funny, weird, stinky)
1 Rock friend
1 House with no windows, no doors, no balcony, no furniture, smiley-face wallpaper
Method:
First add ghost, then mix in house, then put friend in house

Ingredients:
Descriptive language
House next to a graveyard (old house, owner died there from a heart attack)
Mist
New Owner
Talking ghost
Night time (10pm sharp)
Axe held by a bony hand
Method:
1. Harry buys house
2. He moves in alone
3. Furniture keeps moving
4. First night power goes out
6. He goes to the basement to check fuse
6. Sees green figure moving around

A graveyard with dead roses
It’s midnight
Next to the graveyard is a haunted house will blood all over it
One dead family in the house
Boy gets lost
His parents see the house and wander into it
