The finalists for this year’s Westfield Local Hero program include our very own Storyteller-in-Chief, Bilal Hafda!
As a poet, and leader in his local community, Bilal has dedicated countless hours to working with young people from marginalised backgrounds. Through leading empowering workshops and building practical skills, Bilal’s efforts are helping shape a generation of confident and creative young people.
To show your support for Bilal and his work with the Sydney Story Factory, vote for Bilal as your local hero!
A win will see $10,000 put towards creative writing programs lead by Bilal himself. These funds will help secure spots in our workshops for up to 60 young people and kick start their journey towards building creativity and confidence.
