with Volunteer Manager Craig New
We often see students who are either on the autism spectrum, or have various support needs that can get in the way of their writing. There are tricks and strategies we can use to help these students - many of whom are very keen to write - to provide them with support to get their ideas down on paper. In this session we'll look at how autism works, how selective mutism works, what might be behind a student's additional needs, and what support we might be able to offer our students in a writing workshop.
This is a free professional development workshop for Sydney Story Factory Volunteers.
