Mood Poem: Untitled

By Cheyenne

Written as part of We're Writing to Say

Getting clapped at twice
my mother waking me up
clapping twice
makes me get ready.
My friend chewing loudly
I can hear her eating
squishy, crunchy, obnoxiously loud
finishing late math homework
can’t concentrate
I would rather be on my computer
washing dishes after work
disgusting squishy mess.
And then I remember
my dog cookie waiting for cuddles
Alana, Zelynah and Mary
will play video games with me
delicious sushi
for dinner
fresh crunchy watermelon
for dessert.
