Supporting Story Factory in memory of Joy Yeo

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Joy Yeo, a lifelong champion of education, creativity and community.
From her early years as a teacher of English through to her much-loved role as Principal of Roseville College from 1985 to 1999, Joy was renowned for her deep care for every student, parent and teacher.
Joy was passionate about helping every young person to thrive and to know that they matter. She loved music and the creative arts, and enthused young people to discover their own talents through the many plays and musicals she directed.
She believed in the power of storytelling to transform lives and futures, something which is so central to the work done by Story Factory.
To honour Joy’s legacy, her family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Story Factory – a cause which reflects so many of her values.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Joy’s family and friends. Her warmth, generosity and impact will be long remembered.
