In 2016-17 over 3,300 students wrote up a storm in our creative writing workshops. That includes 416 young people we got to know by setting up residencies in their schools, and the seven awesome teens from Youth Off The Streets who wrote protest poems that impressed our socks off. It was an amazing year!
It's official. State of Mind, the book, is now launched! In Term 4 we've wrapped up what's been an absolutely amazing two year project with return visits to regional NSW and a big fat launch party in Fairfield. There were 6-word selfies. And doughnuts.
To start Term 4 we were invited to take part in a fantastic project in Mt Druitt, with students from Willmot Public School and Chifley College. The high school students became tutors for the primary school students - and the results were amazing.
