Stage 4

From our Writers Teaching Teachers Writing creative writing program.

The shopping centre walls were made of smaller shops and stalls. A brick, sheltered pathway leads people to the large interior. People still visit these areas. Wooden stools placed about allowed observers to sit and see the people as they played through their day. Businessmen and women, families, large shopping bags. The shopping centre hears a lot of footsteps, but it is never somewhere people’s minds linger. This, however, is where the unexpected most occurs. A surprising encounter, the starting of a small parade, a harmless collision. The sunlight doesn’t spotlight these moments, but these little things are what people never forget.
