After All by Jamil
After all I am broad and sharp
I may crumble and crack
on the inside I am intact
How do I cope with the struggles I face?
I erode away as the air becomes fierce.
Earthquakes will destroy, however I still stand
Together with the land I try to speak
as I feel the wind brush past my peak
The feelings kept inside blow out
The animals that use me are careless and free.
They burrow inside and leave their problems behind.
I will cope and I will survive
after all I am not alone and I am glad I am my home
