Eat Your Words and Support Sydney Story Factory

Eat Your Words and Support Sydney Story Factory

18 Mar 2016

We need your help. This year we’re running our most ambitious workshop yet: a year-long program for 12 amazing teens who are writing not just a fistful of poems or a short story but a fully realised novella. At the end of the year their novellas – up to 30,000 words – will be professionally typeset, designed, printed and launched. Awesome, huh?

So where do you come in? We need to raise $5,000 to make sure we can deliver this ambitious project in full.

You like eating, right? And you like eating with friends?

This April or May how about Eating Your Words – host a dinner for friends and help our aspiring novella writers.

Eat Your Words is the funnest, easiest way to support the Sydney Story Factory. Host a dinner at home (or in fact any foodie event that feels right for you) and invite your favourite people to come along. We ask them to make a donation, and the money comes straight to the SSF so all you have to do is lay on the spread. We’ll also send you awesome placemats, a word game, and stories by young people to inspire your guests and give your dinner party a uniquely Story Factory edge.

Of course, after all your wonderful work to support our Year of the Novella writers, we’ll be sure to invite you to their grand launch party at the end of the year to be part of the celebrations.
