Thanks Longrain and Utopia Art Sydney

Huge thanks to Longrain and Utopia Art Sydney for coming up with the wonderful idea of auctioning an art work (below) to help the Sydney Story Factory. Utopia donated this beautiful dot painting, Tingari, by Alan Tjampitjinpa, one of the Papunya Tula artists, and it looked out over Longrain’s pop up restaurant at Sydney Contemporary, the art fair recently held at Carriageworks. Diners eating their delicious food could ponder its beauty, and bid silently at the counter.  The work went for $780, all of which will be donated to us.
