Stories change lives.
What We Do
Our expert staff run a wide range of fun and engaging creative writing programs for young people aged 7-17, of all skill levels.
Our workshops are designed to help build literacy, confidence and creative problem solving – essential skills to write their own futures.
There was a change. A change everyone was expecting but refused to acknowledge. It was our fault. The Government put what they called a “great amount of money, time, effort and research”, but for some reason, they couldn’t do anything to stop it. “Reduce your plastic usage”, they said, “use energy-efficient appliances”, “reduce your waste”, “renewable energy”, “cut down on carbon emissions”. But no one listened, they just found ways around it.
Change is Scary
I walk into my creepy basement to get my family’s old rusty camera and hear a big bang. I turn on the light and it starts to flicker. I see the camera from a distance. I walk toward the camera and try to grab it. I start to feel something brush against my skin. I immediately realize it’s a bunch of spiders and cockroaches.
