blueberries at the back of the fridge by bea

in my fridge i find the meals i did not eat. the lingering / hunger of a girl always too large for her age. / in my fridge is the body I have always been told to want. / “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”. / half a box of forgotten blueberries / lives behind the unsealed dog food tin. / i gag on sight. / i will probably never eat a blueberry again.
