Decisions

By Brendon Ly , Out Of School

Every Wednesday afternoon, I would walk to the station with a group of my friends. We would walk quietly through the streets and observe the silent machinations inside the domestic scene. Every afternoon, there were always questions. Some questions were met with a quiet confidence. Others were answered with loud uncertainty.

No one ever fancied that I made the best decision. Every time.

Fill up for petrol today. Better now than later.
Call in sick tomorrow – the weather’s not looking good.
Go left, turn right and don’t stop, even for a stranger with a friendly face.

Trust me.
