In summer the sun rises early…

By Nigel, Out Of School

In summer the sun rises early, but in the winter the sun stays stagnant until the day’s half done. Still the doors will be clear as day, and you’ll always be welcome to browse the shelves. If it’s cold, the library will be warm and inviting; and if it’s hot the aircon will be on blast. I go early in the morning after the night shift when my feet are sore and my head is too heavy, glide up the mountains of stairs, skim the books and read as many excerpts as my brain can stomach.
