Fishing Tale was written by Matthew Clark Rivera, who turned 6 on April 16, 2012. He says of himself: When I grow up I want to be a footy coach and I’m going to play in union and my team is Rovers, and I’ll drive my very own BMW going to the football stadium. My favourite games right now are ‘Minecraft’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed’. My favourite food is pizza. The things in life that I hate are music, long-distance running (I am pretty good at sprinting), and AAARRRRTTTT (I REALLY hate art!!). I have a brother who varies between nice and annoying.”

In her own words: “Hi. As you already know, my name is Minudi De Zoysa. I am an average eleven-year-old from the twenty-first century. I was lucky enough to be one of the children included in the Pop-up Story Factory writing workshops. Anyway, I was born in 2000.
